A strong sherry influence also permeates the aromatics, heavy and thick, in the Pedro Ximenez style. The 12- and 21-year-old expressions are excellent (and the latter is relatively affordable considering its age), and there are even older bottles to consider like the Ruby Anniversary Edition, a blend of five rums aged between 35 and 45 years in the tropical Jamaican climate.
