What, no fries? Not for The Global Gladiators! Kitted-out with a goo gun each and a smile, they’re ready to take the world by storm. Let’s go CFC-busting! Watch out aerosols, your time is up. The Global Gladiators only features four distinct worlds, with several levels in each world. It is a testament to how fun the game is, that the player is left wanting more, but the game does feel a tad bit too short. There’s more to it than gathering the thirteenth letter of the alphabet! If you collect enough of the blighters, you enter a bonus stage. Time for a spot of recycling! Catch the litter and place each piece in the correct dustbin. Just like those aluminium recycling gizmos you see in the high street! In another comparison with Cool Spot, the primary weapon in Global Gladiators cannot be upgraded and you may get a tad tired of shooting out short range slime from water guns. Newcomers to the handheld scene and platform addicts will love this. Diehard gamers may find it a bit easy but It’s fun while it lasts and a game you’ll want to play again anyway. Fury (AKA Jodie Ounsley) says: "Watching Gladiators growing up I was always in awe of their strength and power and now I am one! I hope contenders are ready to feel the Fury." I find it hard to believe that you would play Global Gladiators because Ronald McDonald is your hero and that McDonald's is your favorite place to eat and hang out. Regardless of these two reasons, I would play the game because it is the type of platform games where you do not have to kill shit, but accomplish some objectives.
