About this deal

The 45-degree connector stuck to our tyre valves with no hassle, even if the shorter, solid neck of the gauge makes it a bit trickier to attach than the Draper, above. Simply, remove the dust cap on the tyre valve and place the head of the digital tyre pressure gauge over the tyre valve, pressing firmly. Well, ensuring your tyres have the optimal amount of air inside improves the efficiency with which they rotate, improving your economy and saving you money in fuel. AA Digital Tyre Pressure Gauge AA1634 - Easy to Use on Cars Motorbikes Vans Bicycles - Backlit LCD Screen - 0-100 PSI/0-6. This is a really affordable option that has a backlit digital readout and nozzle, making it easy to use in low light.

Only drawback i would say is that, whilst it has a soft feel about it,so it is comfortable to use, i noticed, that because of it's colour and texture it appeared to get dirty quite quickly. It comes complete with a rotating chuck that makes it easy to get the gauge onto the tyre valve, too, but the rubber hose is chunky and can make the gauge awkward to use, because it’s harder to manipulate. The AA gauge is very similar to the other digital gauges here, but it measures pressure only in psi and bar.

If you can't find them here then the pressures will be displayed on the tyre's sidewall, in the fuel filler cap or even in the sill of the driver's door. Reasonably easy to use but worth thinking as to how you are going to use it as if you have particularly difficult access to valve hen bear in mind you have to push this device on to valve. The extended, rotating neck makes awkward valves easy to reach, while the chrome-plated finish and heavy-duty rubber give it an extra-durable feel. Some drivers will love this product’s pistol grip, and it worked well – especially in low light as the blue LED illuminates around the chuck to ensure locating the valve is simple. While analogue gauges deliver reliable readings, digital devices are often more accurate because they can often provide pressure readings to the decimal point. The blue backlit display is a bit small and like the Michelin, it offered four scales on start-up but then just psi and bar. You can check tyre pressures at a petrol station using an air compressor, but using a tyre pressure gauge is both quicker and easier and can be done at home or at the roadside. To use, the pressure gauge must be placed firmly over the tyre valve, once the On button is pressed the gauge must be held on the valve until the reading is displayed.
